Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Compliance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) in Kenya by Nathaniel Muthomi, Kenya Union of the blind and World Blind Union.

The World Blind Union commissioned a research to document the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Compliance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) in Kenya in October 2019. The report was launched on 6th August 2020 with participants from all over the world attending via a zoom webinar. Quite insightful findings were made that can help shape the policies and the plight of person with disabilities in Kenya. The report documents the current policies and practice and makes progressive recommendations to the government and civil society on what needs to be improved. The report was presented by Nathaniel Muthomi Murungi who is a researcher and an education expert from Kenya and worked together with Edwin Osundwa.
